NEW IN. So sorry about the lack of updates these past days. As much fun as traveling is, it can be super exahusting sometimes, and after traveling pretty much every other week for the past 2 months I kind of needed a break from everything. It looks like neon is among my favourite colours for the season: I recently received from Shopbop a pink Diane Von Furstenberg clutch (similar to the leopard one from last summer), a Dannijo bracelet and a bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs, that I shot with my Doloris Petunia necklace. Ready for a colourful spring.

Four women are assembling bags out of various elements the artist created in advance. Each resulting bag is an expression of a specific style and state of mind and is categorized with a fantastical name. Here is a picture of my summer clutch, which I found at the Surf Lodge in Montauk and that I love.
I put my survival kit in (sunscreen, sunglasses, Ipad) and toss it in my big beach bag. And so when there are no palm trees around (like in Montauk, you can count the palm trees with one hand) (Mmmmm, this is a French expression. I am not sure it translates very well) I can look at my clutch and dream about them.
No. Because magazines always try to overfeed me with fall fashion, I resist. I want to enjoy summer fashion till the last second.

I well remember when Claudia Eicke presented her beautifully produced first leather bag ‘bonvoyage‘ (French for ‘have a good trip’). It was her graduation from the University of the Arts Zurich in 2007 which led her onto the path of accessory design with a special twist.

I am carrying the shopper ‘Calvi’. It’s really comfortable with the large volume and all the compartments. In my bag there are: iphone, wallet, keys, pencils, moleskine, “bag-in-bag”; the small purse ‘Carin’ that contains all my beauty products.
Your trademark piece is the ‘Weekender’. What makes it special?
The ‘Weekender’ is very functional and leads to a phenomenal overview on all the belongings in the bag. The unique “tunnel compartment” has room for shoes, newspapers, a bottle of wine….
