There are brands which decide It's the time to present a long term campaign against extreme poverty in Africa, as Tommy Hilfiger did with the project "MILLENIUM PROMISE". Officially launched on 23rd June 2010 with a 5 year duration, Millenium Promise a no profit organization, with the final goal to halve extreme povery in Ruhira villages in Uganda before 2015, making these villages a self-sustaining community. The idea of this self-sustaining community is " we don't give them fish, we show them how to fish". Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation announced in 2009 a 2 million dollars donation to its partership with Millenium Promise, and encouraged different people to take part in this movement (also The Blonde Salad will be active part of this project, but I will tell you more about it soon). On 19th April 2012 this project will be officially launched in Italy, with an event in Tommy Hilfiger store in Milan, in which a new artistic installation by the mexican designer Francisco Torres will be released. At the same time also the "Millenium Promise Capsule Collection" will be released: 14 man pieces, 17 woman pieces and 10 accessories whose proceeds will be ENTIRELY donated to Millenium Promise. I will take part in the event for sure, and also 50 of you will be able to join the party, taking part of the GIVEAWAY which will be launched from April 13 to April 18 (I will give you the link once online). In addition to this, there will also be another COMPETITION reserved for The Blonde Salad readers, whose prize will be a trip to Uganda, to take active part of this project. You all remember about the times I talked you about CHICISIMO... In addition to publish your looks, get popular and become "Top Fashionista" of the brands you wear the most (how cool is that?), you now also have the chance to receive a "ChiaraFlower": a flower/award that I'll give to three different people each month whose looks particularly caught my attention. Nothing to do... I still miss Thailand, and we came back 6 days ago. I look back at the photos and so many landscapes, smiles, tastes and scents come to my mind. A place to visit and to love. Vi avevo già detto della pubblicazione del primo romanzo di mia mamma, "L'inganno della seduzione" (potete leggere le prime 20 pagine a questo link). Ora è il momento di conoscerla e supportarla :) Se siete a Cremona (questo weekend) o Piacenza (il weekend successivo) vi ricordo quindi questi due presentazioni del libro (io naturalmente parteciperò ad entrambe) in due diversi negozi Feltrinelli:
-Il 24 marzo (questo sabato) alle 17.30 a Cremona, corso Mazzini 20 -Il 30 marzo (venerdì) alle 18 a Piacenza, Via Cavour 1
Living at our best these 8 days in Thailand and coming back to the room at 7 when the sun was already down, I only managed to shoot two of the looks I wore during my nights in Phuket. Nothing too complicated: a simple lace dress, flat sandals or wedges like this time, natural hair (even better if combed), no makeup if not for a red gloss on the lips and an arm party of coloured bracelets. This past week was all about being and feeling natural.
Vivendoci al massimo ognuno degli 8 giorni passati in Thailandia e tornando in camera solo alle 7 quando ormai il sole era tramontato, sono riuscita a fare qualche foto veloce soltanto a due dei look che ho indossato durante le serate a Phuket. Niente di troppo scomodo o troppo studiato: un semplice abito di pizzo, sandali bassi o zeppe come in questo caso, capelli rigorosamente al naturale, ancor meglio se raccolti, zero trucco se non un velo di gloss rosso e braccialetti colorati a non finire. Questa settimana è stata all'insegna della naturalezza.

Our 7th day in Thailand started with another Club Med excursion, this time to visit the most important temples of the area. When the excursion was over Richie, Silvia and I went to visit the famous weekend market and then went to Phuket Town: It was the most exciting day here, the photos of these places will amaze you. Now for you the look of the day: white lace shorts and yellow bandeau bra from my capsule collection "Chiara Ferragni for Yamamay" worn with a denim shirt, cream sunglasses and colourful bracelets (and you still have to see the ones I found yesterday in Phuket)!
Il nostro settimo giorno in Thailandia è iniziato con un'altra escursione di Club Med, questa volta per visitare i più importanti templi della zona. Finita l'escursione io, Richi e Silvia ci siamo avventurati nel famoso weekend market ed abbiamo poi visitato Phuket Town: è stata la giornata più emozionante in assoluto, le foto di questi luoghi vi lasceranno a bocca aperta. Per ora ecco il look del giorno: shorts di pizzo bianchi e reggiseno a fascia giallo della mia capsule collection "Chiara Ferragni for Yamamay" (ora disponibili in tutti gli store Yamamay) indossati con una camicia in denim, occhiali panna e braccialetti colorati (e dovete ancora vedere quelli che ho trovato ieri a Phuket)!
Some higlights of my 6th day in Thailand thanks to Club Med, before visiting the temples: - I had my first golf lesson (only tried mini golf before) - I wore the tshirt with the skull on the back I found in a store in Paris last week - I won my fear of the trapeze: I did it and it was marvellous but so scary! - I ate all kinds of fruit (and all kind of tacos at night) - I drank half of the water of the zen pool to shoot the last photo as a teen in love, but It's worth it right?
Alcuni higlight del mio sesto giorno in Thailandia grazie a Club Med, prima di andare a visitare tutti i templi: - Ho fatto la mia prima lezione di golf (prima avevo sempre e solo provato il mini golf) - Ho indossato la tshirt con teschio sulla schiena trovata in un negozietto di Parigi settimana scorsa - Ho vinto la paura e ho provato il trapezio: impressionante ma stupendo! - Mi sono rimpinzata di frutta di tutti i tipi (e di sera di tacos) - Ho bevuto metà dell'acqua della piscina per scattare l'ultima foto da adolescente innamorata, ma ne è valsa la pena no?

On Sunday I wore the white bikini and the dress of the same colour, and in tomorrow's post you'll see the orange and yellow bikini I chose for my visit to Phi Phi islands today. I remember when, a year and a half ago, I found a photo of one of these funny bags and, since I immediately fell in love with them, I looked for them everywhere without any results. I finally found them: they're from Banane Taipei and they represent in a funny (and definitely cheap) way the dream bag, the Birkin bag, in a lot of different colours. I chose them in the lake blue, grass green and midnight magenta versions and yesterday, when the fashionshows were over, I wore the first of them with a light shades look, in which my Banane Taipei was the main accessory :) You can also write to Banane Taipei on Twitter, I'm curious to see which is your favourite colour and what you think about them.

Now we can finally reveal this amazing project: Werelse for Mango Touch capsule collection is about to arrive, created by me, Andy e Carolina, which means the Werelse team :) This is the first article about it, published yesterday on Glamour Italy and the ones in the photos are only some of the pieces of the collection, which will be available from April 15. Soon all details (and all the photos)! P.S: Outfit post of Milan fashionweek day 1 very soon!

Last September I was invited in Paris by Louis Vuitton to meet Fabrizio Viti, designer of the shoe line of the maison. It was such a big honour being able to interview him and to visit his house, and It's so wonderful to watch myself in one of Louis Vuitton official videos, which was released today. I still remember when my mum gave me my first Louis Vuitton bag, and with a smile on my face I think about the first designer bag I bought with my own money in the store: Speedy 30 Monogram. Being able to collaborate with this maison is something to be proud of. Thanks to all of you for making it possible!
Lo scorso Settembre sono stata invitata a Parigi da Louis Vuitton per incontrare Fabrizio Viti, designer delle scarpe della maison. E' per me stato un grandissimo onore poterlo intervistare e visitare la sua casa, e soprattutto è pazzesco rivedermi in uno dei video ufficiali del brand, che è uscito proprio oggi.
