It’s Online Fashion Week this week, the new initiative from British Vogue aiming to replicate the success of ‘Fashion’s Night Out’ (the city-wide shopping event which took place back in September.) Kicking off the week comes Jigsaw, offering 10% off full prices items online until midnight tonight. Now, there was a flapper beaded dress we’ve had our eyes on for some time (remember the great campaign image? With the girl laughing on an old chair with a beanie on? That’s the one!) which sadly appears to have sold out…thankfully we’ve found a more bargainous sequin option! And the girl is still wearing that lovely beanie…perfect! Our other top picks, should you ask, are a bright red fedora (to match that lovely winter nose) and a vintage-inspired gem stone ring. To claim your discount, simply enter the code VOGUEOFW at the checkout before midnight tonight, 5th December.
Shop now at Jigsaw.
And yet doesn’t she look suitably festive! I forgot the main thing that’s been loveable about Sarah Jessica Parker from the very beginning: her incredible knack at dressing as a child (when the likes of Chloe Moretz have started raiding the communal pool of DVF wrap-arounds) and getting away with it every time. The A-Line cut, bib front and excitable array of feathers makes this Spring Louis Vuitton dress (first out the box from that collection, no?) Disney princess at a couture level. And mother of three SJP looks totally revitalised by the piece! I also love her attachment to the suspect and the gaudy- an affair still going strong post-Carrie- where white heels crop up time and time again. A lady after my own heart, as ever.
What do you think of this look?
Forever21 T-shirt, vintage denim dress, shoes from Vans and Lowrys Farm bag.
We can hear the countdown already as the big 2012 closely approaches (yes, already), and to go out with a bang you’re looking for the right LBS, right? We know all too well! Forever Unique’s Lenore dress shouts “Happy New Year” pretty loudly; and with the gathered bust and tonal/silver embellished bow all you need to add is a pair of Manolo’s and a Karen Miller clutch to see you through to the end of a glamorous, and fabulous, 2011!

Two girls, enjoying being photographed before the much anticipated Marni show at Milan Fashion Week.
Eclectic, unconventional and contemporary is how she describes her designs, but truly beautiful is another. Kelly Ann Garforth seems to have craftsmanship down pat, producing what all women want in a classic, sophisticated way. After studying at De Montford University and graduating in 2009, Kelly Ann has edged her way into luxury swimwear and ladies fashion by producing timeless pieces of art within her garments. Her passion for fashion shines in her designs and oozes creativity in every new collection.
Her latest Autumn/Winter 2011 collection – Flutter-Bye- is KLUE by Kelly-Ann’s third fashion collection, and is simply breath taking. In her words ” its a collection that was inspired by the theme of metamorphosis the transformation from a cocoon to a butterfly, drawing on the view point that life is about a constant metamorphosis of change”
Swimwear has never been so seductive, luxurious and sophisticated- Kelly-Ann’s Cherish swimwear collection Spring/Summer 2011 had all yachts coming to a halt!

Carven is the new brand that we love and that I have been wanting to talk about for a few seasons. It’s beautiful, well made and the price point is not crazy, wich is quite rare for original design.
Well, I have to say the cut is pretty tight and I would probably look very funny in that dress, but I still find it irresistible.

If like me you are a big fan of Wimbledon, you’ll be glued to your screens over the next couple of weeks! With the exciting game play comes a whole wave of tradition, and to me it all feels very ‘vintage England’. The polite crowds, fresh green grass, and strawberries and cream make it a lovely, sophisticated sports event and it still remains a big part of our national identity.
Taking inspiration from the fresh whites of the players and the glamorous style of the onlookers from the past, I’ve put together a cute combination, with a nice little Forties twist. Its game, set and match for ladylike dressing!
