I kinda am really repetitive when I want to share some of my personal experiences: my closest friends know all of my stupid stories and when I’m about to tell the same one another time they always make joke of me screaming “we already know that”.
One of the sentence I tend to repeat the most is “I love this moment of the day”, referring to that hour in which the sun is going down but there still is a lot of light.
In Mexico this moment looks even more beautiful: after a sunny day there is nothing better than a refreshing shower, some clean clothes, Sal Y Limon colorful bangles, wet hair and an amazing view.

Tendo ad essere una persona molto ripetitiva quando voglio esprimere i miei sentimenti o condividere qualche mia esperienza personale: i miei più cari amici conoscono praticamente tutte le mie storie, ed ogni volta che comincio a raccontarne una per l’ennesima volta mi prendono in giro urlandomi in coro “la sappiamo”.
Una delle frasi che ripeto più spesso è “adoro questo momento della giornata”, riferito a quell’ora prima del tramonto in cui il sole sta ormai calando ma persiste la luce.
In Messico questo momento sembra ancora più bello: dopo una giornata di sole non c’e’ niente di meglio di una doccia rinfrescante, dei vestiti puliti, dei bracciali colorati di Sal Y Limon, i capelli ancora umidi che si asciugano all’aria ed una vista mozzafiato.

Los Angeles day 1

After a first night in Los Angeles and three days in Palm Springs for Coachella here I am again for three days in the city of angels, where I’ll be back for other 10 days next week, after flying for work to Dallas and Cabo (and I’ve never been to any of those two cities). Ok, maybe all these trips are confusing you too, but all these travels make me excited and recharge my energies.
There are a lot of new projects and changes for the future and I’m ready for them and this is the first one: from today The Blonde Salad will be in spanish too!! Enjoy it…
On Monday, while Ricky and I were driving from a meeting to the other one we saw this pink wall: in one moment It became the perfect location for this look.

Dopo una prima notte a Los Angeles e tre giorni a Palm Springs per il Coachella eccomi di nuovo per tre giorni nella città degli angeli, dove tornerò per altri dieci giorni settimana prossima, dopo essere stata per lavoro a Dallas e Cabo (e non ho mai visitato prima d’ora nessuna di queste due città). Ok, forse tutti questi spostamenti confondono anche me oltre che voi, ma tutti questi viaggi mi rendono entusiasta ed ancor più piena di energie. Ci sono tanti progetti e cambiamenti all’orizzonte ed io sono pronta ad accoglierli Il primo inizio a dirvelo: da oggi The Blonde Salad sarà anche in spagnolo!! Spero che questa piccola cosa vi renda felici…
Lunedi, mentre io e Ricky guidavamo tra un appuntamento e l’altro siamo passati davanti a questo muro rosa: in un attimo si è rivelato la perfetta location per questo look.

Last days in Milano

Last days in Milan before leaving for a very intense month: from Thursday I will be working in Los Angeles, then at Coachella, then in Dallas and Cabo in Mexico, and then back to Los Angeles and to New York.
Useless to say how happy I am right now: you all probably understood what traveling means to me, and being able to see the world thanks to my job makes me super excited and full of new energy and new ideas.
This is one of the looks I wore in my “milanese” weekend: It has that right mix between casual and chic that I feel like my own. Not only the materials and the shapes make this outfit special, but also the details: from the new Celine trapeze bag to the Tag Heuer watch and ring, that make the look definitely more sophisticated.

Ultimi giorni a Milano prima di partire per un mese molto intenso: a partire da giovedi sarò infatti per lavoro a Los Angeles, partirò per il Coachella festival e poi per Dallas e Cabo in Messico, per tornare a Los Angeles e poi a New York.
Inutile dirvi che non sto nella pelle: tutti voi avrete capito quanto per me viaggiare sia l’esperienza più gratificante al mondo, e riuscire a vedere il mondo grazie al mio lavoro mi rende sempre entusiasta e piena di nuove idee ed energie.
Questo è uno dei look indossati nel weekend milanese appena trascorso: possiede quel giusto mix tra casual e chic che sento molto mio. Non solo i materiali ed i volumi rendono speciale questo outfit, ma anche i dettagli: dalla nuova borsa trapeze di Celine all’orologio ed anello di Tag Heuer, che portano il look ad un livello più sofisticato.

First day in Chicago and I couldn't be happier!

Marfa day 1

I heard about Marfa some years ago and, when I was asked to spend there two days for a project with Bar III I didn’t hesitate leaving for this roadtrip in the texan desert.
Marfa is 3 hours drive away from El Paso, has around 1500 habitants and almost all the population is composed by all kind of artists: an oasi of creativity that makes you want to isolate yourself from the rest of the world.

Avevo sentito parlare della cittadina di Marfa alcuni anni fa e, quando mi è stato proposto di passare li due giorni per un progetto di Bar III non ho esitato a partire per questo roadtrip nel deserto texano.
Marfa dista circa 3 ore di macchina da El Paso, conta circa 1500 abitanti ed è quasi interamente popolata da artisti di ogni genere: un’oasi di creatività che ti rapisce e ti fa venire voglia di isolarti dal resto del mondo.

Paris fashionweek day 5

Good morning and good weekend beauties
Sorry for my lack of daily posts on the blog in these last three days: I came back from Paris on Wednesday night with high fever which kept me company during these last days.
After a month running from one show to the other in New York, London, Milan and Paris my body gave up and realized It needed some rest
Now I have some working days here in Milan trying to get back in shape before the next trips and to publish all the photos from Paris.. Starting with these ones from Tuesday, with the look I wore to the Dior re-see and Chanel fashionshow.
For my fifth day of Paris fashionweek the Redken team chose for me straight hair, also called “Sideline Sparkle”
And you still have to see one of my favourite hairdos!

Buongiorno e buon weekend bellezze
Innanzitutto scusate per l’assenza dei miei post quotidiani sul blog in questi ultimi tre giorni: sono tornata da Parigi mercoledi sera con la febbre a 39, che mi ha tenuto costante compagnia per le ultime giornate.
Dopo un mese di corsa tra le sfilate di New York, Londra, Milano e Parigi penso il mio corpo abbia sventolato bandiera bianca e si sia arreso alla stanchezza
Ora mi rimangono altri giorni di lavoro a Milano per riuscire a riprendermi un po’ prima dei prossimi viaggi, e per pubblicare tutte le foto arretrate di Parigi.. Cominciando da queste di martedi, con il look che ho indossato per il re-see di Dior e la sfilata di Chanel.
Per il mio quinto giorno di fashionweek parigina il team di Redken ha scelto per me capelli lisci alla “Sideline Sparkle”

From Villa Cora

In these days in Firenze with Luisaviaroma we stayed at Grand Hotel Villa Cora, an ancient villa situated on the hills which was just renewed. In a few words: a dream.
Of course we took most of the photos in this beautiful location: the main characters of my “look of the day” of last Sunday were my second and last sales purchase: Louboutin leopard ankle boots… Like them or not?

In questi giorni a Firenze insieme a Luisaviaroma abbiamo soggiornato al Grand Hotel Villa Cora, un’antica villa situata sui colli e da poco ristrutturata. In poche parole: un sogno.
Naturalmente la maggior parte delle foto le abbiamo scattate proprio qui: i protagonisti del mio “look of the day” di Domenica erano il secondo ed ultimo acquisto del periodo saldi, i tronchetti leopardati di Louboutin… Like them or not?

As you probably understood from my updates on Instagram and Facebook fanpage I’ve been in Firenze from Saturday afternoon, for the traditional Luisaviaroma Firenze4ever.
Before publishing the official photos of the three looks from the spring/summer collections that I chose to wear here is the outfit I chose for Saturday night dinner at Palazzo Capponi: since I didn’t take any photos on that night I decided to shoot it on Sunday morning from the terrace of our hotel.
The maxi ankle booties that I was wearing are one of my two sales purchases: you never forget your first pair of Alaia, especially If It was 50% off

Come avrete capito dai miei aggiornamenti su Instagram e fanpage di Facebook da sabato pomeriggio sono a Firenze per l’ormai tradizionale Firenze4ever di Luisaviaroma.
Prima di pubblicare sul blog le foto ufficiali dei tre look delle collezioni primavera/estate che ho deciso di indossare ecco l’outfit che ho scelto per la cena a Palazzo Capponi sabato sera: non essendo riuscita a scattare la stessa sera ho rimediato domenica mattina sulla terrazza del nostro hotel.
I mega tronchetti che indosso sono uno dei miei due acquisti in periodo di saldi: il mio primo paio di Alaia non si scorda mai, specialmente se era scontato al 50%

In New York for Victoria’s Secret: day 1

On Wednesday, just before entering Victoria’s Secret world, I shot these photos in front of Flatiron building in a little red riding hood version.
It really was cold and windy (especially If compared to the 40° of Sao Paulo last week), but I was lucky to shoot these photos before the snow storm arrived in New York, leaving everyone speechless in front of a white city at the beginning of November.

Mercoledi, appena prima di entrare nel mondo di Victoria’s Secret, ho scattato queste foto di fronte al Flatiron building in versione cappuccetto rosso.
Il freddo ed il vento erano disarmanti (soprattutto se comparati ai 40° di una settimana fa a Sao Paulo), ma sono stata fortunata a scattare queste foto appena prima che la tempesta di neve si scatenasse su New York, lasciando tutti a bocca aperta di fronte allo spettacolo della città completamente bianca ad inizio Novembre.

Back from Brazil, off to New York

Got back from Brazil on Saturday afternoon, and I’m ready to leave for New York (Victoria’s Secret fashionshow is waiting) and then for Miami (yes, It will be a difficult bag to prepare).
Among meetings, catching up with work and some time with my family I found the time to cut my hair (isn’t it more refreshing like this?) and to take photos with some new entries of my wardrobe: in addition to my limited edition shoes in velvet “Chiara Ferragni for Shoescribe” I wore Don’t Cry black jeans and Marc Jacobs black quilted bag found on Monnier Freres, casual and chic at the same time. What do you say about it? About my hair? About the bag? About my look?
Do you have any suggestions for the three days I’ll spend in Miami next weekend? It’s my first time there and I want to enjoy the experience!

Tornata sabato pomeriggio dal Brasile, pronta a ripartire per New York (mi aspetta la sfilata di Victoria’s Secret, un sogno) e poi per Miami (si, sarà una valigia un po’ complicata da preparare).
Tra i preparativi, valigia, appuntamenti e lavoro arretrato ho trovato il tempo di tagliare i capelli (non stanno molto meglio cosi?) e di scattare queste foto con alcune new entries dell’armadio: oltre alle decollete in edizione limitata in velluto “Chiara Ferragni for Shoescribe” ho indossato jeans neri Don’t Cry e borsa trapuntata di Marc Jacobs proveniente da Monnier Freres, casual e ricercata allo stesso tempo. Cosa ne dite? I capelli? La borsa? Il mio look?
Avete qualche consiglio per i tre giorni che passerò a Miami il prossimo weekend? E’ la prima volta per me e voglio godermi tutta l’esperienza!

Speaking about travelling, one of my dreams has always been visiting Rio De Janeiro, having an helicopter ride to see the city from the top and visiting the statue of the Christ.
One of the many reasons I love The Blonde Salad is this one: yesterday, thanks to my blog, during my Brazilian trip organized by Luiza Barcelos I realized all these dreams.
Yesterday was one of those days which gives you an unlimited charge, created by perfect moments you’d like to stop and make yours forever. Those moments you think about when there’s something wrong. Those moments that make you want to spend your life travelling exploring new places.
With Richi, Thassia and Jess I discovered the city from different heights: first from Pão de Açúcar mountain, then from the helicopter ride (best experience ever) and at the end from Corcovado mountain, where the Christ statue is situated (take the train to go there, it’s such an emotion). So much beauty around this place.
I was wearing denim shirt and shorts, comfortable booties and the loyal Replay aviator sunglasses.
Rio, eu te amo!

Parlando di viaggi, uno dei miei sogni di sempre era visitare Rio De Janeiro, fare un giro in elicottero per vedere la città dall’alto e visitare la statua del Cristo Redentore.
Uno dei tanti motivi per il quale amo The Blonde Salad è proprio questo: ieri, proprio grazie al blog, durante il viaggio in Brasile organizzato da Luiza Barcelos sono riuscita a realizzare questi desideri.
Ieri è stata una di quelle giornate che ti danno una carica infinita, creata da momenti perfetti che vorresti poter fermare e fare tuoi per sempre. Quei momenti a cui pensare quando c’è qualcosa che va storto. Quei momenti che ti fanno venire voglia di passare la vita a viaggiare ed esplorare luoghi nuovi.
Insieme a Richi, Thassia e Jess ho scoperto la città da diverse altitudini: in primis dal monte Pão de Açúcar, poi dal giro in elicottero (a dir poco mozzafiato) ed infine dalla montagna del Corcovado, dove è situata la statua del Cristo Redentore (prendete il treno per salire, è un’esperienza splendida). Un susseguirsi di brividi d’emozione.
Indossavo shorts e camicia di jeans, stivaletti comodi ed i miei fedeli occhiali aviator di Replay.
Rio, eu te amo!

Came back from Russia yesterday night, ready to leave for Brasil very soon
Here is the photo reportage of my third day of Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Russia, last Sunday in Moscow: a tour of the Kremlin, a lunch with the most influential russian bloggers, and Marouissia Zaitseva, Viva Vox (my favourite of the whole fashionweek) and Leonid Alexeev fashionshows.
I hope to come back to the wonderful Russia very soon, the experience was even more beautiful than what I expected!

Good morning from Moscow!
I’m here from Friday afternoon invited by Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Russia and I couldn’t be any happier: this is not only my first time at Russian fashionweek, but It also is my first time in Moscow and in Russia in general.
On Friday afternoon and yesterday I had the chance to attend my first fashionshows here (Bessarion was my favourite one, but I also liked Goga Nikabadze, Maria Golubeva and Yana Gataullina) and the first exhibitions and presentations (loved Slava Zaitsev exhibition). Most of the designers are really young and very well organized, in the air you can breath enthusiasm and a lot of joy.
The venue of the shows is the Manege, the Kremlin old manege: a very big building in which Mercedes-Benz Lounge is also located.
I can’t wait to enjoy these two more days in Moscow and to discover more about the city! Any suggestions?
For yesterday’s fashionshows I wore a comfortable yet cool look: the main character is the new Diane Von Furstenberg gold lips satin clutch that I found on My-Wardrobe just before leaving, that I wore with a metallic skirt, logo sweater and new booties from three days ago in Paris. What about it?

Buongiorno da Mosca!
Sono qui da venerdi pomeriggio invitata da Mercedes-Benz Fashionweek Russia e non potrei essere più entusiasta: non solo questa è la prima volta che partecipo alla settimana della moda russa, ma è anche la prima volta che visito Mosca e la Russia in generale.
Venerdi pomeriggio e durante tutta la giornata di ieri ho avuto la possibilità di assistere alle prime sfilate qui (Bessarion è stata la mia preferita, ma ho apprezzato anche Goga Nikabadze, Maria Golubeva e Yana Gataullina) ed alle prime presentazioni ed esibizioni (fantastica l’exhibition in onore di Slava Zaitsev). La maggior parte dei designer è molto giovane e già molto organizzata, niente è lasciato al caso e si respira nell’aria novità, voglia di fare ed entusiasmo.
La location delle sfilate è il Manege, il vecchio maneggio di fianco al Cremlino: un edificio di dimensioni imponenti che ospita anche la Mercedes-Benz Lounge.
Non vedo l’ora di godermi questi altri due giorni nella capitale russa e di scoprire ancora di più la città! Qualche suggerimento?
Per le sfilate di ieri ho indossato un look comodo e particolare: la protagonista indiscussa del look è la nuova clutch in satin con lips dorate di Diane Von Furstenberg trovata su My-Wardrobe appena prima di partire, che ho abbinato con gonna metallic e felpa con logo, oltre ai nuovi stivaletti presi a Parigi. Che ne dite?
